GT Turbo

I'm a coder from an Atarian democrew called

'Cerebral Vortex Software Development' ( Fuckin name !! http://cerebral-vortex.net/ (C.V.S.D. short version )

and i have done some little routines for the Jaguar, i have started to code a Shoot'em up for the 64 bit machine, but the artist wanted to do the scrolling in the other way. So we stop this development and now i have no more news from my artist.

At this time i'm working on tools for Jaguar games, like my map editor called Topaze :

http://cerebral-vortex.net/index.php?id=85

and another one but .............

and i'm admin on Jagware ( http://Jagware.org)

Heyas

Turbo GT pointed this neat site out to me (we're both in jagware!) so I thought I'd drop by.

I'm Mr Morden - one of the coders in the new group "reboot" - we're currently working on two games (Tapperesque - A Tapper clone - and Project One - A scrolly shooter)

You can find more information on our website http://reboot.dbug-automation.co.uk

Yop !

So I'm Matmook.

I'm one of the coder of the group C.V.S.D. (like GT_Turbo) but I'm only coding on jaguar.

I've code my first game on Atari Jaguar : "Do The Same" (http://dothesame.jagware.org).

I'm currently coding a remake of a very old (1981) arcade game on the jag.

(Not a programmer just commenting)

Welcome Matmook, love Do The Same, and glad I had a chance to  help playtest somewhat.  Can't wait to see what the 1981 game is.  Hope it is TRON.  Smiley

Mr. Morden, always a pleasure.  Project One is looking good, and Tapperesque I think will be a lot of fun.

Hey GT Turbo, good to have you here.  Who in the world came up with "Cerebral Vortex Software Development" and why?  As for Jagware, have decided tonight to start following that place in my Jaguar rounds.

I really wish we could show you more of Project One, but if we did it would spoil the suprise of when you see the completed level one. It's definatly getting a lot of TLC before we release it.

I'd just like to reassure people that it's real, and it is coming very soon.  I know Jaguar fans have heard all these promises in the past from other developer teams, but, please, have some faith in us and this project. We are committed to giving you a great free game, and are further committed to giving you a taster of it soon. And rest assured, once the game is fully complete and out there we will give all the code and assets into the community, and will support that release and answer any questions people may have.

Tapper... hmm.. not looked at that in a while... not since I started the title screen for it anyway Tongue (and we all know how that turned out, don't we?)

Hey GT Turbo, good to have you here.  Who in the world came up with "Cerebral Vortex Software Development" and why?  As for Jagware, have decided tonight to start following that place in my Jaguar rounds.

Hey Dr Clu !!

The best Bubsy player in the world !!

Some words on Cerebral Vortex Software Development. First of all i'm coder in this team, at the beginning this crew is a demomaker crew :

http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=52687

http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=14853

http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=30042 (This one with Orion's team (Osmosys, DiamJag coder))

We have released a ST game :

http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=32816

One day we have decided to stop democoding and starting tools and game development only. But that was too hard, demomaker oneday, demomaker forever !! So we continue to code demos but now we code everything Atari's related and on all machines.

If you are Lynx user you know Yastuna games, coded by a friend Fadest and graphics by a C.V.S.D. artist called Templeton Smiley (Little thing i'm the only one people in the worlds who got a dedicated box from this game by Fadest and Templeton.)

On this photo you can see Matmook (Left side), Fadest and me on the right side and me in the bottom.

Bear who has done graphics in Do The Same, have done all graphics using a Falcon and Rainbow ii ( http://www.rainbowpainter.com/about/rainbow2multimedia.html ). He has done graphics on a Falcon slide show too

http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=41995

Templeton has done graphics in a new ste gamme called RoX :

http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=53197

Finally, only one thing to remember, C.V.S.D. is an Atari crew doing things on all Atari machines just for fun !!!

Regards,

GT Turbo (C.V.S.D. ( http://cerebral-vortex.net ), Jagware)

Neat Dropzone flavored logo - does that mean there is some kinda dropzone bonus level?! I'm reading too much into it, right? Cool

No comment on Project One other that "it's real" and "it's coming soon."

As stated above - we don't want to spoil the suprise.

Tss tss, what an ugly picture, it should be forbidden to take photos at 9AM during shows, especially after a white night Cheesy

Btw, GT, the question was mainly : which game are mastering, intending : sre you the best. A part Dragibus eating, I don't see a possible answer Wink
